One Day Trek to Maribetta - [17th May 2014] - Registration is on

About Maribetta:-  Its locally known as Karadibetta because here one can see lots of bear’s This is one of the not-so-popular trekking destination quite close to Bangalore (Just 3 KM from Kanakapura). At the base of the hill is the Bananthimari temple where animal sacrifices are quite common. 

Distance: From Bangalore: 72 km

Route: Bangalore – Kanakapura- Hoskote- Maribetta

Difficulty level: Moderate

Tentative Schedule:
Saturday   17th May 2014:
06:30AM    Pick up from BMC, Shivaji Nagar
06:45AM    Pickup from New Shanti Sagar Hotel, Domlur
07:00AM    Pickup from Lifetyle, Magrath Road (Near Garuda Mall)
09:00AM    Have breakfast on the way
10:00AM    Reach Base camp
10:30AM    Start Trekking
01:00PM    Have lunch
04:00PM    Start climbing down
05:00PM    Reach base camp
05:30PM    Start back for Bangalore

Note: Drop points will be the same as pick-up points.

Suggested things to carry:
- Personal medication (if any)
- One strong backpack.
- Water bottles (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water)
- Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucose etc.)
- Small torch with new batteries.
- Camera (Optional)
- Rain Coat (Highly suggested)
