Life is full of misery and sorrow. This summer to find inner tranquility and peace do join the 34rth Kalchakra by His Holiness Dalai Lama at Leh. We all know that happiness is something which we can not buy from money, it is our action which defines our life and how it would be, so find your inner self. Kalchakra etymology defines as  it consist of two words "Kal" and "Chakra" mean Time and Circle, which defines it as cycle of time. The venue for Kalchakra 2014 will Buddha Garden ( Jiwe Tsal) and massive congregation will be expected. Kalchakra system consist of three cycles i.e external cycles, internal cycles and alternative cycles, while alternative cycles deals with the methodology which liberates from inner cycles and external cycles. Why these Kalchakra is so special is due to the fact that , the Kalchakra sermon in Ladakh last held was in year 1976 and more over His Holiness Dalai Lama age is also around 76 years old so might be after this Kalchakra such congregation will be rare.This Kalchakra will be also special because on 6th july His Holiness Dalai Lama Birthday is their so its a great opportunity to pray for their long life.So schedule for Kalchakra will be as follow.

Day 1: Arrival in Leh, full day rest for acclimatisation

Day 2: Attend preliminary teaching by H.H Dalai Lama and birthday celebration of His Holiness.

Day 3: Attend preliminary teaching by H.H Dalai Lama till lunch and drive to Hemis monastery for its annual Monastic festival.

Day 4: Attend preliminary teaching by H.H Dalai Lama till lunch and visit Shey palace and Thiksey monastery.

Day 5: Attend Kalachakra ritual dance at Jivey Tsal-Choglamsar.

Day6: Attend Kalachakra initiation conferred by H.H Dalai Lama till lunch and then visit Shanti stupa, Leh Palace and Tsemo Gompa.

Day7: Attend Kalachakra initiation and afternoon free for rest.

Day8: Attend Kalachakra intitiation and visit Likir and Alchi Monastery.

Day9: Attend Kalachakra initiation and afternoon free for rest.

Day10: Attend a long life empowerment (Tsewang) ceremony and offering prayers for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Day 11: Departure from Leh .

So join this summer Kalchakra at Leh , find your inner self and spirituality and tibetan buddhism philosophy.

Tips From Expert 

1. Bring One umbrella as it will be quite hot during sermon

2. Bring your suncreen  lotion.

3. Book your accommodation and taxi early because at that time it will be too expensive

4. Always carry water and tissue paper along with you.

5. Always reach at time

6. Bring small quantity of packed food along with you.
