Starting your journey from Ratnagiri, 40 to 45 km further from there is Sangameshwar village and in Sangameshwar there is a road. Kasba village has a hospital nearby on that road called Dhanvantari. Within 4 km is the temple of Shankara. The temple of Sapteshwar is situated in a very dense thick forest with the gentle sound of birds and a very cool and peaceful atmosphere.
Another famous thing here is the clean and clear water tank here It is heard that there was water in this kunda for twelve months of the year. In front of this kunda, we can see seven arches. The flow of water coming into the kunda comes from these seven arches and the water flows from the seven arches. Therefore, this temple is probably named as Sapteshwar.
This water trough is a very good example of ancient water management
