22nd May 2020

The year 2020, Who wouldn't remember this year The year which was full of surprises, tensions, joy & much more. The year was started normally but at the end of the Feb the things started to get changed.

Journey was not going to be easyas I have never Donne romper to Wardha on like before but I had to take as was sitting in the home vacant fee almost 3 months with no work and no chance of starting of work in near future. I just waited for the fitness certificate. Moment of tech was here as I got my certificate! I was ready to take a step ahead towards a journey of a lifetime. Talked with my parents & told them about my plans for travel to home. I packed my bags; stocked up my food items & food

Time was 4:30, I was ready& by 5 left. As I plan to leave I already filed up. The initial plan was to cover maximum distance during the daylight as I was unaware about the petrol pump operating time. It was time & I left -journey started all I can see was empty roads. People walking down the road with there bags on shoulder, children in hands, not thinking about food & water but The destination. One hour from the journey & I was stuck in the famous Mumbai traffic, which was unexpected in that time. Bikes, truck, buses, and auto. All I can see on the toll plaza. Was stuck there fo alleast an hour. In the journey ahead. The month was may thus, there was no chance of rain enroute.

The moment I enter kasara ghat, It was raining. With no peotective gears or rain gear I was worried about my electronics. Last the rain last for not more than 19 min. I continuend on my journey. Time was 1900 hrs, it was fuelingtime as I don't want. To miss the opportunity as it was getting dark. This is where I took my first break after, some 150 KM. Made calls to my family regarding my journey which was was going so far so good.

My next plan of stopping after crossing Dhule or before 2200 hrs. I was taking my chai breaks their I wasn't hungry also I was carrying every drinks in care you know. The roads were buttery smooth till Dhule. The real torture was about to start pot holes filled two lane road, The real pain started when it was raining cats & dogs. Found a petrol pump which was working by the grace of god. I filled up ate some food & parked my bike & waited. As the time passed, & rain was m no mood t to stop. I waited for total 2 hours. For that moment that was quite some time.

Alas, the rain stopped & I was back on road. Time to switch to google map in order to compensate the time. Once, I reached Akola, google map has made me officially lost me on the streets of Akola. Coming back on route cost. me another hour or in other words 60 km. While coming there was nothing opened unless petrol pump. Thanks to detour I found dhaba which was fortunately opened. I took my first chai break of my journey. Took 15 min break & I hit the road.

It was almost morning called home regarding my condition and my current location. I crossed shegoan in the morning. Being awake all night I wasn't tired nor feeling drowsy. For transition break-i changed my specs with goggles, turned on my Spotify playlist & stopping wasn't an option. Relying entirely on google maps wasn't leaving no stone unturned in disappointing me. For 10 min it asked to take a long route which actually cost me around an hour. Somehow managed to reach Wardha. Was told that around pulgoan,.people are getting pulled over & are being asked b show permit. As I wasn't carrying one but that doesn't slowed me down. I wasn't pulled.

.I reached Wardha at ll in the morning.Directly I went to civil hospital for routine check up over covid -19.Waiting foe an hour I was cleared to go home & get quaratine for It days at home which agreed completety. By 12 pm my ride was officially concluded which include total 12 hours of riding, 4 hours increased becauseof google maps & 2 hours of idle time for the entire journey.
