Leave early morning from Mumbai, take a MSRTC bus which will drop you to Alibag bus stop or you can hire a zoom car too .
You can also take a ferry from gate way Of India which will drop you to the Mandwa Jetty. You will get to enjoy the ride in the amidst of Arabian Sea.
Once you reach Alibag , check in the homestays as homestays are cheaper than hotels ..
Head out to Alibag beach which is 1.5kms away from the bus stop ! Be cautious , there are no lifeguards .
After some fun at the Nagaon beach , visit Kolaba Fort now also knows as Alibag fort!
The fort was built by Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj , after he took control of the entire Konkan region.
The fort timings are 10am to 5pm
After visiting the Kolaba Fort, enjoy a visit at a cool Varsoli Beach . It’s a less crowded beach so you can spend some “me” time here.
A peaceful sunset at a Nagaon beach is worth your visit to Alibag . It’s a quite and secluded beach which gives a romantic touch with a sunset !
This beach is tucked between two hillocks.
You can enjoy various water sports like banana ride , water scooter and para sailing here!
