While returning last time from harishchandra trek we decided that one day again we will come back… again we will take this risk… again we will climb it… with that note, we return back to Pune…
After one year we decided to do this trek again and we already decide “Kuch bhi ho ye time sala upar jana hi hai….!!!” So Again as per plan we took a bus from Shivajinagar to Kalyan at 11 am as we went by this route earlier so we thought by 4–5 pm we will reach to moroshi but this time I think destiny don’t want to things go better for us so we stuck in tremendous traffic at Chakan to aalephata and we are like “Ye time aaisa lagra hai shuru se lagne wali hai boss…!!!!” but we don’t have any other option too. On that journey, there is one person on the bus who was drunk, and he is doing very crazy things he entertained us like hell. as we are laughing because of that person but the back of the mind we were worried as the last bus from moroshi to belpada/walli vehere is at 7:30 and it was already 8 and we were at junnar itself. In junnar our bus driver decided to stop 15–20 mins In that time one of my friend went out to search his so called friend(you know what I mean..) shop. I was like is he crazy or what…”But ky kar sakte pyar ka sawal jo tha….!!!” and our bus left junnar we decided like if we don’t get transport from moroshi to walli vehere we cover that 10km distance by walking it will hardly take 2–3 hr but we don’t have an idea when we will reach to moroshi as bus is running very late because of traffic. so we are just hoping for the best. In that one passenger suggests to us that instead of land in moroshi you guys should land in murbad and return to moroshi by morning from murbad because at that time landing in moroshi is not safe rather bus conductor also told the same. I was like “Phele se lagi hai usmai koi aaisa sugesst karega toh kaisa hoga…!!” but still we decided to land in moroshi and by 10:30–11 Pm bus drop us at moroshi.
Bus drop us near one chinese tapri its like “bahut andhera tha aaaspass sirf voh chineses banane wale 2–4 log the bass…!!!” so as there is no public transport avialble there we alreday decided we cover the 10km distance by walk so we started walking there is no one in that road just we four of us and full of dark all over there is no street light so i scared little bit and we dont know the road as we have google tai with us but still i have some bad experiences with tai in rular areas so again I told my friend “chal bhai tapri pe jake dekhte hai kuch transport option milta hai ky…” so again we went back and ask that person over there so he called someone and he came with his sumo we ask him how much he will take to drop us to belpada he told us that he will charge 500 rs we are like “sala pune se yaha pe 500 rs mai aaye hai ab sirf 10km ke 500rs bahut jyda hore…” so we started to bargain but he is not going to listen us as he know we dont have any other option so again we decided to go by walking but after 300 -500m of walk in dark we realisze that walking to the unknown road in the dark is not good for us and we required some time to for rest too so we get back and again call him and tell him to drop us to belpada. his look was dam angry towords us but as we dont have any other option so we get into the sumo. I tried to communicate with him but he was not answering me because we had thoda clash first time. so then again I will remain quite too but suddenly he stops the car on one “sum sam road na aage koi tha na peeche and charo taraf andhera hi andhera “ I look at my one friend and he pulls out the sattur he had. I strongly grab my bag to hit on his head if he tries to do something wrong with us we were almost ready for the attack but he went out from the car because the back door is open he just close that door and drop us to the base village but trust me guys that feeling was very scary.
So again we were staying in the same mandir were the last time we stay. but last time we meet one poojari over here but this time we saw a photo of him on the wall “Meri itni fatti ki maine poori raat voh photo ki taraf dekha bhi nahi…!!!” and after this long day we went to the sleep as tomorrow we have a big day.
Early morning we started our trek. this time again we have the same moto we have to first reach towards nalli and then go ahead further with nalli but at starting itself we get arrows that will navigate the roads towards harishchandra. so we are started following that arrow. And this time finally we reach to the nalli which is nothing but the patch in between two mountains heading towards harishchandra gad the view from this nalli is mesmerizing while climbing some rock patches in just 4–5 hr we will reach towards our last rock patch. The feeling of completing this trek I m not able to express in words but while climbing last rock patch I started shivering because finally, we are completing this trek after so many ups and downs. When reaching the top I was quite “actually voh feeling hi kuch alag tha …!!!” . When we reach to kokankada I feel relax “jaise puri thakan ek jatke me nikal gayi ho…. aaisa lagra tha ki bass ab yahi baithe rahe… “ the view from kokankada gives me the feeling of satisfaction. there is no doubt why every trekker have dream to visit this places so many times. Completing this trek after our first fail attempt giving us another level of satisfaction and feeling of achievement. The sunset from kokankada shows us how beautiful our Sahyadri mountain range is.
This trek thought us the real meaning of “Don’t stop when you are tired stop when you are done..!!” This trek will always have one special place in my heart.
