Harishchandra Gad never fails to attract the trekkers and travellers with it's amazing beauty. It is the 2nd highest fort in Maharashtra. The mighty KOKANKADA has the next level tourist attraction which never fails to surprise the trekkers or travellers with it's amazing structure.
We started our trek from Khireshwar base village.It takes hardly 3-4 hours to reach the Temple. You can have some snacks over there.Taramati peak is famous for it's sunrise spot.You can see in the pictures the sunrise which made me to fall in love with it.
From Taramati we headed to the mighty KOKANKADA. We were able to see the little part of KOKANKADA and it was amazing.It was in the fog. The whole group was amaze and excited to see the KOKANKADA and take the pictures over there.
We reached the KOKANKADA it is the semicircular part of the hill (around 500m radius). The valley full of clouds and we were over them those feelings can't be expressed in words.That feeling is just to feel.You can also see the Shiva linga in the cave near Temple which is stood on a single pillar.Sunset at KOKANKADA is as best as sunset at beach. I think also a poet can't express or explain the Sahyadri in words.
