Shillong!

From kolkata I left for Guwahati, took a train from Howrah station to guwahati. On reaching, I got a cab to Shillong easily, it took 350 rupees although the fixed rate is 390. I reached by 12 noon.
It was a solo trip, so I took a dormitory at prakash hotel at Laitumkhrah point. Left for the market that there is, Police Bazar, BadaBazar. Did some shopping. Met some local college students in the evening at Munchies (food joint) who had just got over with exams. They were also planning for a getaway for a day or two. I joined in.

Got in touch with the college students, they had some party in the evening. I went for breakfast outside the hotel. A variety of food by the locals were on display to my delight. After breakfast, I booked a cab and left for laitlum. The place was covered with clouds and the visibility was almost zero. Maximum 5 meteres of visibility. Cold clouds covering the beautiful point. It's famous for shooting of Rock on 2 and roadies last year. Tea and momos were being sold at that spot of utter invisibility. Tea remained hot for a minute at most.😉 I Was totally wet by the time i was leaving.
Came back at the room of one of them. party was going to start. We had a very good time that night.

Sunny morning for the first time in 3 days. Chilled in the early hours with tea and nature. Got ready to leave for Shnongpdeng and Krangshuri falls.
Had taken a scooty on rent from a shop near munchies at Laitumkhrah. Left around noon, reached a dhaba around 2pm had lunch and left again to reach krangshuri around 4 pm. Lovely view, scintillating. Had a good swim there and played with everyone. Left there around 6pm to reach shnongpdeng around 7:30pm. Took tents on rent. Stayed in them and partied all night. Got up late next morning. Then saw the beauty of Shnongpdeng. Lovely exhibition of nature.

Morning at the footsteps of nature was the best morning of my life. Greenery all around, covered around hills, river flowing downstream, raining lightly.
Tea at our tents, amazing feeling. Felt as if we have missed this forever. I could not forget this morning ever. Then it started raining and it rained heavily. They had many water sports such as boating, clif jumping, kayaking, zip-lining, scuba diving, etc. None of the activities were on that day because of rains. it rained so heavily that the whole place was covered with water within 2 hrs. We left around 3 pm and came back by 7 pm after having a stop-over fo lunch at a dhaba en route.
