32. Majorda BeachLocated at a distance of 11Kms from Margao, this beach is famous for nice music, drinks, Goan delicacies and long stretch of crystal clear water.
Majorda is a calm, unexplored beach and hosts Goa Christmas Carnival every December. Long stretches of white sand coast and lush green countryside make this beach worth a visit. Do try out the Goan seafood of Martin’s Corner, if you happen to be there.
Once you are back to Palolem, ride your bike to the north and drive to Majorda beach. It is a 1 hour ride from Palolem to Majorda and make sure you reach Majorda by 2-3 PM. Majorda is famous for its breads that is a delicacy. Beach with silver sands is ideal for swimming and soaking sun.
The most beautiful beach I've visited so far. Very beautiful white sand, and a whole lot of crabs and starfishes!! We waited until sunset. It was one of the most beautiful places in Goa, for me, on the Earth so far!!
This beach was more like a retirement home but it was BEAUTIFUL. The sunset was spectacular and it was really comfortable for a swim . Again a very very quiet beach with no one around. Just lazing in one of three shacks with a nice book and some music. The sunset is totally worth it and if you are looking for silence and quietude - this should be one of your picks.
The sands of Majorda are not as white as those of Colva. It is a quiet and calm beach that is not as crowded. Its one of those recreational beaches where people relax under beach umbrellas and recline on pool chairs. If you are on the lookout for a beach where you can enjoy the sea and read a book, this is your destination.
