The place away from the busy life and pollution of city, hosting two near by forts for trekking, serene and calm Pawna Lake it is.

It was the 3rd quater of the year and we were very much confused wether to Party or to go Camping, after a lot of discussion the location was Pawna lake, yeah we were going for night camping at Pawna Lake.

A team of 15 members, all the bookings made, four cars on the road we were off to witness the serenity of Pawna. It was 52 Kms from Pune city, so we reached there in couple of hours, checked in to the camping site at 4 PM, stacked our bags in camp and off to check spot for our night bon fire near the lake.

The deal was: Evening tea and snacks, Barbeque grill lit up with 250gm veg/non-veg per head , dinner, next morning tea and breakfast. We preffered to use our own marination for BBQ chicken so we carried all the ingredients required and ordered for extra chicken.

We all were busy playing dart games, badminton, and doing some Photography.

As sun was setting on the left of Tung fort , the sky was turning orange-yellowish, which was an amazing treat to eyes.

Slowly it grew dark and we started preparation for our BBQ chicken, lit up the hukka, bottles opened and ready to enjoy the camping night, dinner served was good.

Post dinner we lit up our bon-fire and hit the floor with songs, everyone was in mood to sing so it was quite a night for us, we stayed late till 1 AM and finally had to go to sleep as next day was going to be really tiring due to Tikona Fort Trek.

Day 2

We woke up by 7AM , after breakfast we took bath in lake. Started off for Tikona fort, which is about 5-6 Kms from camping site.

The trek it was, tiring, frightening and ofcourse an amazing experience.

It was about 3 hours return trek, view from top of fort was breathtaking.
