Shali Tibba is a popular trekking trail located in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. The trek is an easy to moderate level of difficulty and is suitable for beginners. It is a 1 night 2day trek that covers a distance of 12 kilometres. The trek passes through dense forests, villages, and the stunning meadows of the Shali Tibba peak. The peak offers magnificent views of the snow-clad mountains of Dhauladhar and himayas . The trail is dotted with ancient temples Mata Bhimakali and shrines along the way, making it a perfect trek for those who want to explore the spiritual side of Himachal Pradesh.
My first day of the Shali Tibba track will begin with a brief orientation of the area. We will also discuss safety and risk management. After that, we will take a short hike around the area to get a feel for the terrain. We will then set up camp and discuss the plan for the next few days. We will finish the day by cooking dinner and enjoying the sunset.
