"Udaipur"- The name itself gives feeling of Royalty. The city also known as 'City of Lakes' has unique sense of magic. You will get pure Mevad vibes in this city of Rajasthan, India.

There are so many places which tourist can visit in Udaipur. I will give detailed list of things to do and places to visit in this city within 2 days of time.

Best time to visit : July- February. This city looks really beautiful in all seasons but more preferable will be Monsoon and Winters.

Day 1

On Day-1, Morning can be started with a visit to great city palace which is series of palaces built at different times from 1559.The construction was started by Maharana Udai Singh II and his 4 generation followed 400 years construction to build this amazing palace.

It will take around 3 hours to visit entire place from inside and entry tickets are around 350 INR per person.

Tourist can have beautiful view of the Taj Lake Palace from behind the City palace.

After visiting the city palace, Crystal gallery is a good place to explore various crystal art and spend your afternoon.

Once City palace visit and Cystal gallery visit is completed, you may enjoy your lunch at any restaurant near city palace which servers authentic Rajashthani dishes like Dal-Bati or Besan gatta.

After lunch, in the afternoon, you can visit Bagor ki Haweli which is also 10 min walking distance from the City palace or you may enjoy shopping near to the palace.

In the evening around 6:30- 6:45, You may head to Dudh talai which is at end of palace. From there, you will get the best view of the lake Pichola.

This is best time for Pichola boating when sun is already set and all palaces around the pichola lake will simmer like diamonds. It will be magical view.

After completing the boat ride, you may head to your stay/hotel, take dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2

You may start your day by visiting Fatesh sagar lake in early morning. Calm waters of Fatesh sagar lake will give you feel of meditation in the morning.

At Fatesh Sagar, tourist may go to Moti Magari, which is a memorial of the Rajput hero Maharana Pratap. It is a small hill, atop of which there is a bronze statue of the Maharana astride his favourite horse "Chetak".

After visiting Moti Magari, Tourist May head to Sajjangarh Palace which is also famous as Monsoon palace. Entry to this palace opens at 11:00 am and there is an entry ticket for vehicle and number of people in the vehicle.

From the top of the Sajjangarh Palace, you can get arial view of the city Udaipur.

There is one canteen where tourist may have refreshments.

After visiting Sajjangarh Palace, you may head to city back and one way, there are nice restaurants where you can get lunch easily.

After Lunch, you may head to Shilp Gram which is village style designed unit for rural arts and crafts.

You may explore folk dances and musician, handicraft jewelries, Paintings etc. Around 1.5 hours of time can be spent here. Entry ticket is around 180 INR for this place.

After visiting the Shilpgram, you may head to Karni mata temple, located at Doodh Talai near Pichola. There is a rope-way which takes visitors to a hill to this temple.  Rope-way ticket is around 200 INR.

You can witness a view of whole Udaipur city, pichola lake, city palace etc. from this temple top and watch beautiful sunset.

With all these visits, your second day can be completed and you may head for dinner and take rest at your stay.

These are magical experience to visit these places on time which I mentioned as I usually visit Udaipur 4-5 times a year. Its my Happy place.
