We woke up at 10:00 AM and started off to Mahabalipuram. At the border, we were blackmailed by the police to pay them for the unsealed alcohol bottles. But, since, we knew some reporters in Chennai and after speaking with them, they let us go. We went off to Mahabalipuram, which was just 90 KMS from pondicherry. We went to the guest house and relaxed for a bit and went to the beach. We enjoyed the sunset for a while and went back to room. At the evening, we went to the legendary Bob Marley Cafe and relaxed for a bit. After that we went for bar hopping and visited almost 5 pubs. After that we went to our room and dozed off.
In the morning, I went to the beach again, which was less than a one minute walk and enjoyed the sunset, which was amazing. And later we checked out and drove back to Chittoor.
We started at 10:00 AM from Chittoor by Car and reached Auroville By 04:00 PM. We thought of booking appointment to visit the Mantri Mandir, but, they were not issued due to Omicron crisis. So, we visited the Auroville Visiting Centre and reached our room. We relaxed for a bit and roamed on the streets for 2 hours and went for alcohol shopping. After that we went to the rock beach and the new year celebrations were already started. We visited the Legendary Le Cafe And waited untill 12:00 AM. There were lakhs of people and even lathi charge also happened. We were lucky that we got an good view point on top of Le Cafe. We went to our room and dozed off on the alcohol.
