Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) has announced a five-day Jain circuit tour covering most of the Jain sites in Tamil Nadu starting on March 16 from Chennai.

Places To Be Covered:

Chiththannavasal in Pudukottai, Samanarmalai Theerthangarar abode and Brahmi inscription in Madurai, Ladan Koil in Madurai Yanaimalai, Kidaripatti Jain monuments and Jain Cave in Melur, Rock Cut temple in Thirumangalam, Sri Vettuvan Koil and Jain abode in Kazhugumalai in Tuticorin district, Thirunarunkodai in Ulundurpet, Arunachalaleswara temple in Tiruvannamalai, Vallimalai and Thiruparuthikundram Jain sites in Vellore district and return to Chennai.

Tour Package Inclusions: (as per TTDC)

The tour package would include transport, accommodation and food.

• Single room with air-conditioned accommodation and A/C coach will cost INR 16,000 for adults and INR 8,000 for children.

• Single room with non-air conditioned accommodation and A/C coach will cost INR 13,000 for adults and INR 7,500 for children.

• Double room with air-conditioned accommodation and A/C coach will cost INR 11,000.

• Double room with non air-conditioned accommodation and A/C coach will cost INR 9,500.
