1. Jama Masjid, New Delhi

Jama Masjid is one of the very famous mosques in India and in the world. Built by Shah Jahan in 1956 having the capacity to accommodate near to 25,000 persons. The minaret made of red sandstone and marble is of 135ft in height making it the largest mosque in India.

2. Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad

One of the oldest and the largest mosque in India, Mecca Masjid is made of soil and bricks exported from Mecca in 1694. The 75 feet high mosque has the capacity to accommodate 10,000 people at one time

Legends speak: There is a slab bench near to the pond, that if someone sits once on that slab, will return back to sit on it again

3. Taj-ul-Masajid, Bhopal

5. Bara Imambara, Lucknow
