Famous American Entrepreneur, Jim Rohn once said, "If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse."

The brutal honesty in these words can't be denied and I say this very firmly because I have seen myself giving an excuse for one thing but when I really wanted it, I worked towards it and found my way. That one thing was finding time to exercise while I am on the run.

Don't most of us pin the blame on non-availability of gyms, unsettling routines, and street/fast food when we can't work out during our travel? Well, keep those excuses aside when you hit the road next time and keep yourself healthy by doing the following easy exercises to stay fit and active during your travels.

Meditation

Meditation should be a pleasurable addiction in everybody's life. It helps to calm mind, improve concentration, re-define perception and develop inner strength. Also, your body feels relaxed and these are all just natural results of meditation. Meditating for 20 mins a day not only relaxes your mind but also boosts your body to start the day.

Running

Running is the easiest and the most popular form of physical activity as it doesn't cost a lot to take part and you can run at any time or place that suits you. Regular Running helps to build strong bones, as it is a weight-bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, burn plenty of calories and help maintain a healthy weight without a lot of struggle.

Cross Body Toe Touches

Cross Body Toe Touches is one of my favorite exercises since my school days. I am sure you remember this doing in schools too, right? It is basically functional standing abs exercise targeting many more muscles than just obliques (as told) to perform the movement. It actually helps to build the stronger link between upper and lower body. The lower back in particular as it is the key to have strong and healthy lower back to any sport or activity. As a part of the core, it develops both power and strength while protecting you from low back injury.

Stairs Climbing

Climbing stairs are one of the best exercises when it comes to pure fat burn, strengthening the lower body, toning the butt, thighs, calves, losing inches from that stubborn belly and building great abs. It is way too easy to incorporate this exercise into your day to day routine, right? Just ditch those luxurious lifts and learn to choose staircase is all you need.

Dumbell Front Raise

Dumbbell front raises strengthens your shoulders and upper back, also helps to improve the posture of the upper body. Doing 20reps 3sets a day or alternate will make your shoulders stronger in no time.

Also, You don't need to carry Dumbell for this one, you can utilize anything around as Dumbell (of course it should be at least 5-10kgs depending upon your stamina). *Just don't exert, take it easy with this one.

Even if you're not in the lap of Himalayas or at the shore of the Indian ocean, I request you to go out of your gym and do these exercises. Why? Because breathing in the early morning fresh air is healthier than the confined air of the gym.
