How to reach?
Haridwar is well connected with network of road and rails from all part of India.
My entire family mom, dad and wife were enjoying our vacation in raiwala a place not far from haridwar.
We were staying at the guest house and decided to go to haridwar and see the river at its full flow.
As haridwar was hardly 7 odd Kms so we reached there quite early.
Haridwar is 230 km from Delhi and is well connected with road's as well as railways.
The place is known for some big Indian temples.
Hardwar is a religious Hindu place which is famous for the ganga arti along with this it is also a place where last rites of Hindus are done.
We reached there and went directly to have little bath in the water. It is said that the water can wash all the sins that you have commited in your life :)
Not sure about sins, but the water was damn cold.
We enjoyed our time with little bathing in the water.
Went to nearby stall had tea and Samosa.
Had a great time clicking pics and watching Ganges at full flow.
A must visit for every Hindu :)
