Day 1

Need to take a break from your routine?? Well, here's a perfect answer for those in and around Karnataka... It's no where other than Bynekaadu, the perfect nature scenic place in Kalasa, Chikmangalur.
A group of 12 ladies set out the journey on a Saturday morning 5am from Bangalore, and reached the home stay around 2.30pm due to diversion on our route leading to a 2 hours delay in reaching the spot. We had done the booking of our rooms 2 weeks in advance.
While describing our journey towards the destination, we had stopped by to have our breakfast before Hassan at a hotel named Dhruvathare(recommended ,as it's clean and serves tasty food), you can find many other options as well on the highway. Continued with our journey, we stopped to have tender coconut in between. You will get a lot of toll booths on your journey,so keep the change ready folks!!
After a long tiring day journey, finally arrived at the homestay, where we had courteous staff welcoming us with drinks and lunch . We checked into our rooms. Since we were group of 12, we opted for 6 per dorms, which was amazingly kept ready for us to feel comfortable. The cottage we stayed were made of wood with glass windows offering an amazing view of the estate outside.

We freshened up,had tasty buffet lunch and set out to go to the nearby waterfall . Being an odd time, the water was less at the falls. We were taken at their jeep and it was a half an hour ride to the place. On the way ,we can see coffee curing work factories and the catching aroma of coffee all around. The roads were  not well built giving us an off roading experience. Enjoyed ourselves at the falls and got back to the cottage.
It got evening ,we had tea/coffee and snacks was getting ready for the campfire , where they arrange private camp fire🔥 for each group. We were served with veg and non veg snacks ,a large camp fire area ... Such an amazing time. And we head our way back to the dining area to have our dinner .

Lights off! That's day one at Bynekaadu 😊

Day 2

Day 2 also started little early for us. We went on for a trekking at Kuddremukh mountains in the jeep. The journey gave us an amazing off- roading experience. The mountains were not green unlike mentioned by other travellers due to the time we went. The view at the top has no words to express, such picture perfect spot... Our group spent hours clicking pictures and then returned back to the cottage.
We had our breakfast, and next destination is the river Bhadra that flows right next to our cottage. It's like private entry where only guests could enter. Walking through the coffee plantation we crossed the river to reach at the main area to do some swimming , floating and relax. Its time to wrap up!! Headed back to have lunch, packed our bags and check-out!
Got some Bynekaadu special coffee powder, last minute photo shoots and Tataaaaa..
Our journey back to Bangalore started around 4pm  stopping by to have tea and dinner (at Dhruvathare itself) and finally to reach at midnight to our houses.
