Day 1

World's largest statue. You will be amazed reaching at 140m height in just 40 seconds. You will experience a new developed India. As you enter the statue of unity. There are tickets to buy.. they have 3 varieties of the ticket. Basic ticket excludes the visit to the dam. The express ticket is of 1000 basically to avoid the line.  It's better to opt for the normal one of Rs.350.

Suggested to visit the place in good weather. Because it's all outdoor to avoid the sun and heavy rain.

So, after buying the ticket and submitting bags even foodstuff you move forward to the statue of unity museum. It's a huge hallway which is aided by escalators and its all beautiful view all there.
As checked in to the museum which is again huge and very different than compared to others. It is suggested to verify the slot of viewing gallery which is on the other floor. The security guard will allow you to enter within that slot. As we checked in nearly 11.40 and had the slot of 12 to 2. So we opted to visit the viewing gallery first and latter the museum.
From the viewing gallery, you can view the beautiful lake that has developed all around. We visited in Aug-2019 at this time everything was in construction. Hopefully, within 2 years, it will become the best tourist spot.
Later after viewing here which will take around 2 to 3 hours as moving out, we reached the food court. (honest, subway and other) after this, there are special bus facilities in future there will be a ferry to take you from one place to another and too all the bus fare is included in the entry ticket.
The bus will take you to the valley of flowers which is again totally beautiful view. You can walk to the dam or you can boat to a specific point for the dam or you can take the bus. The scene is damn mesmerizing. New developed India is seen on every set. We had this butta from the outer stalls.

Again we took a bus and move to the dam.  A beautiful area is build to view the dam. And also we opted for boating behind the dam areas. Its only good if you are a good fan of it. The boating behind the dam was private and costly. If you are a fan of being on the ferry then you may enjoy. For me, it was not that good.
Later we came back to the stoppage and had the bus for Ahmedabad.

All in all its a very beautiful place. The scenic beauty as well as the well maintained by the govt. It will be definitely one of the best in the coming few years. The work progress is going at a speed. Adding of a jungle safari in which there is planning to have more than 100 animals around the world and mainly the white tigers.

Definitely, a place to visit. One day trip.
