Amer fort is one of the most beautiful and visited forts in India situated in jaipur.
Amer was once the capital of princely Jaipur state, and the fort the residence of its Rajput rulers.
Raja Man singh constructed parts of Amer Fort.
It was also declared a World Heritage sight in 2013

How to reach there :
If you're on a strict budget, take one of the bus bus . They're crowded but will only cost you 15 rupees (or 25 rupees if you want air-conditioning). Alternatively, it's possible to take an auto rickshaw for about 500 rupees for the return trip. Expect to pay 850 rupees or more for a taxi.
Me and my 3 friends reached jaipur and were ready to spend a day in jaipur
We started the day by visiting this epic fort called amer fort.
We were near the jaipur railway station and we took a cab directly from there. It took us around 30 minutes reaching one of the most beautiful forts in india.
On reaching the fort we decided to opt for the guide which helped us knowing about the place.
We also had few snacks and lemon soda from the nearby shops. It was quite delicious.
One can go by walk, jeep ride or elephant ride and we decided to go by foot.
It was majestic and very pictureque. It evokes the medieval times very easily and was beautiful both from the outside and the inside
The fort itself contains- A lot of walking, Raja Man Singh Palace,Maotha lake,A park/courtyard, a great wall of boundaries, restaurants, Shila Mata Mandir, Hammam (Turkish Baths), Sheesh Mahal, Ruin of Palace, A Secret Tunnel.

We spent around 2 hours at amer and it was one amazing experience
