Answer is yes!!! The Amer fort of Jaipur is an absolute example
Amer or Amber fort you must have seen this fort in Jodha Akbar or Bajirao mastani movie. On the way to Amer fort you will see a beautiful lake called Maota Lake. And from the first glance your eyes will forget to blink for some time because of its enormous structure and when sun hits it, it looks so gorgeous.
You can enter the fort from Suraj pol (Main gate) or from back gate also so you can get to see Panna meena ka kund too where dhadak movie song shot which was suggested by our driver.
Amer fort was built in a way that from every window or balcony you can get to see amazing view.
But what was jaw dropping for me was the art work on walls and on ceiling.💖 That work done ages ago and the shine and colors were still intact!!!!!
Another fun fact is they use only vegetable colors no chemical at all and the genius designs which actually will puzzle you.
Amer fort is also included in UNESCO world heritage site. Undoubtedly worth every praising words.
As I have fuel your will to visit Amer enough 😅 I hope these tips will be helpful for your trip. 💫
1. You need at least 2 to 3 hours to see whole Amer fort so keep that in mind and I would suggest spare whole day to visit Jaigarh, Nahargarh and Amer because all are on same route. 👍
2. Entry fees for Indian Rs. 50/- and foreigner Rs. 550/- and for Indian students – Rs. 10/- & foreign students Rs. 100/-. (No extra charges for camera).
3. Yes there is a parking space if you are going by cab, private car or a bike. 🅿️
4. I highly recommend hiring a guide because all guides are appointed by government and they will explain every details and fun facts about fort. ✨
5. There are food stalls available and on entrance don’t forget to try Chhas 😋 it’s really refreshing.
6. Lastly keep it clean, be a responsible tourist.
