Located at a very close distance from the Mcloedganj market area, Jai house is a value for money homestay handled by an entire family and it does give you that one homely feel that is needed when you are traveling solo.
Rooms are spacious, every utility is being freshly draped over with utmost cleanliness. The view from the balcony is mesmerizing with Dhauladhar Himalayan chain of mountains and Mcleod ganj valley. One must surely try food sitting in the rooftop café situated at the top of the hotel giving you a beautiful view.
Sharing my experience, I might run out of words, I stayed here for 3 nights but it felt like a family.
I checked in early in the morning at 04 AM, searching over highly recommended homestays I reached out to Jai house, owner of the hotel, Mr. Jay Karan was quite generous to help me with the accommodation at that hour. Mrs Seema Devi and Riya who look after the entire cleaning dept was absolutely generous and too kind. One of my favorite family members was Raman Kumar, a young boy with his chirping smile who helped with Itinerary, food, and to-do-things in the area. Mr. Jay Karan and Rohit Kumar being chauffeur helped me with the entire itinerary around Dharamshala and Mcloedganj’s must-visit places.
Mr. Ajay does have a special talent, he cooks absolutely delicious food.
& not to forget DOLLAR, the over-friendly dog, and my best friend throughout the stay.
Overall, I am so pleased and contented with the hospitality and those smiling faces I am surely going to visit again with my family.
