It's the second day of Gokarna And its time to see the left over places and enjoy the culture, Temples, Beaches and create some memorable moments.
These were my checklist for Day 2 in gokarna.
1. Mahabaleshwar Temple
2. Main Beach
3. Downtown Hotel
4. kudle Beach
5. Sangri-la Cafe
6. OM Beach
7. Namaste Cafe
So My Day started like this:-
1. Mahabaleshwar Temple :-
Quick point about Mahabaleshwar Temple to Know before you visit.
• Main God :- Lord Shiva
• Temple Timing:- 6am to 12pm and 5pm to 8pm
• Best Time to Visit :- November to March
• Most crowd :- Maha Shivratri Festival
• Location : ¬
The Temple is dedicated to Lord mahabaleshwar, an personification of Lord Shiva.
The temple is considered as one of the seven holy mukt sthala Temple in Karnataka.
According to me its a glittering crown of Gokarna and the Gems of the Town.
The Beach is shaped in a way that it appear to be the auspicious symbol 'OM'. That is the reason why this Beach called as OM Beach.
One of the best place for water activity that people cherish here.
These are the following water Activities available at OM Beach:-
1. BANANA RIDE
2. JET SKI RIDE
3. SWIMMING
Apart from water sports OM Beach is a best place to start your trekking journey.
Trekking journey From OM Beach:-
OM Beach is divided into 2 part. One part of Beach is from where the trek start for Half-Moon and end at Paradise Beach. The other part of the beach is from where people climb steps and get out of the beach, onto a main Road.
The Sunset over there is amazing.you can enjoy sitting on the rock. it gives you different level of peace and relaxation to your mind.
One of the Most Popular Beach Of Gokarna. A long stretch of sparkling with Sand and Blue sea. Which according to me is perfect for those who are looking for solitude as well as Serenity.
Kudle Beach is most visited by Foreigners travellers in search of relaxation.It is situated close to OM beach.
Best place to go if you wish to spend some time alone or with loved one and create bundle of memories and enjoying the nature view.
Best Time to visit :- November to Feb
Distance from Bus stand :- Approx 5.5KM
Auto/ Transport :- Rs 200 for two people
Activities and water sports:- surfing,Trekking etc.
5. Lunch Time
2. Gokarna Beach/ Main Beach
As The main Beach is just next to Mahabaleshwar Temple so after all Rituals.
We went to Main Beach to enjoy the sunrise and the Morning vibe of Gokarna.
Apart from Main Beach, there are many other popular beaches in Gokarna such as Kudle Beach, OM Beach, Half Moon Beach, Paradise Beach which make the place more popular among us.
ENTRY :- FREE
Timing :- No fix timing
Distance from Bus stop :- Around 1.5KM
One of the Most popular beach in gokarna. This Beach give us some amazing and mesmerizing sights of oceans and the greenery.
There are Some of the advantures activities anyone can enjoy such as jet sking, surfing as well as trekking.
After spending couple of hours. Now its Breakfast Time.
3. Downtown Hotel For Breakfast
One of the Amazing place to have some seafood and enjoy the morning breakfast.
Price:- 300-500 for Two
Distance from Main Beach :- Around a KM Away.
As personally i didn't went inside i ordered at my hotel cause it was more convenient for us.
Now its Time to Enjoy some of the Most Popular Beach of Gokarna.
4. Kudle Beach( Most famous among Travellers and youth)
People are super friendly and Foods were super taste.
Overall good food and ambiance. Well managed with reasonable Price.
Price:- 500-1000 for two
Good place to spend time with loved one and enjoy the blessing of god (Nature).
6. OM Beach
After you are exhausted with Morning to Evening Journey. It's time to have some good food to refuel yourself.
Namaste Cafe is Just Next to OM Beach. Which is extremely popular albeit and super hyped spot. Personally, i think the price were not so Reasonable. But sometime its better to spend some extra for your happiness.
After having an amazing tasty dinner. We planned to get Back to Hotel.
Price:- Rs 1000-2000 for Two
Location :- Next to OM Beach
Timing :- 8Am to 10:30PM (Might change as per demands)
BEST TIME TO VISIT GOKARNA
Anytime is good for gokarna trip. According to me the Most crowd will Be between December to February And that time prices will be a Higher then regular price.
