Pondy A Place where Alcohol is available free of tax that's what comes in everyone's mind when we talk about Pondicherry but there is lot more to it not just the Tax free Alcohol. I love travelling Solo as going solo helps to connect with different people culture places as well as discovering self. It was mid afternoon when I had done with my office work at Chennai and I decided to move towards Pondicherry . I took local bus from Adyar Bus stop Chennai around 12 PM and reached Pondy around 4PM. I booked OLA for my hotel and within 10 minutes I reached my hotel "Coromondal Heritage" from the bus stand. Room and the owner both was nice. I got into my room and got freshen up. It was around evening 6PM so I decided to go Rock Beach which was on walkable distance of 10 minutes from my Hotel. When I was walking towards Beach I had to cross French colony and the Place was lovely. Finally after 10 minutes of walk I reached Beach. The scenic beauty of Rocky Beach was awesome. The Top floor restaurant of Lee Cafe gives a pleasant view of entire sea though the Food was not that great but I still loved to order coffee and enjoy the cool Breeze of Rocky Beach from the Cafe. I sat there for 45 mins and took a walk of another 1 hour near the Beach and headed back to hotel as it was 9 PM.
Early Morning I got up around 6 and went for Rock Beach walk as well as Sunrise and came back hotel around 8AM. I ate breakfast at hotel which was delicious and around 11 PM I went for local sight seeing. I prefer to take Public Transport for Local sightseeing. I decide to go for Paradise Beach for sight seeing. I asked few people nearby and came to know about the Bus stand. After 10 minutes of standing I got a Bus which took me half way to BoatHouse. I had to change Bus and One local Uncle helped me to get other Bus though we both were unaware of each other's language but somehow I managed to understand his talks. I reached BoatHouse around 1:20PM after 20 minutes of Bus travel. There was queue for the Boat ticket and I too stood in the queue. My bad luck they closed the ticket counters for 30 minutes and all had to wait for another 30 Minutes. Finally they were done with Lunch and our wait time was over. I took the Tickets "200 Bugs" and headed towards Boat. I took the side seat to enjoy the breeze of backwaters. The cool Breeze, Sound of Boat and the silent backwaters was a great combination. After 15 minutes of Boat ride I reached Paradise Beach. Lovely Beach different experience. I stayed around 1 hour and came back to the same place where the boat had left me. Boat had arrived to take us back and me with other travellers were back to the source. I took Bus and came back to Aurobindo Ashram. I visited Ashram and It was worth visiting. Such a peaceful place I stayed there for 40 minutes and it was quite relaxing both mentally & physically. It was end of day I thought of going Beach again before leaving for Bangalore. I sat in the Beach leaving all my sorrows & pain; just being self for around 1 hour. I left Beach as it was around 7:30 Pm and visited Hindu Temple On the way back to hotel. I reached hotel around 8 PM got freshen up and walked towards Railway station. Railway Station was on walkable distance and it just took 15 Minutes. I reached Railway station and saw the Train had arrived. I took the Train and moved towards Bangalore along with my lovely Memories of 2 Days at Pondy
