Have you ever communicated with Trees? What if I tell you trees really do talk?
Don't believe me? I know, It may sounds crazy.

A huge Mango tree at my native place was my favourite during childhood days.
Do you remember that favourite tree of your childhood? Do you remember how you felt when you saw, touched, or ran around it?
Before long, I spent a lot of time under the mango tree. Reading, playing, and sometimes just sitting in silence. It was my friend, there for me when I felt misunderstood, needed a good cry, or just wanted to get away from the noise. Immersed in the magnificence of nature.

After quit long time I could connect to the tree but this time it was very different. Thanks to indiahikes for introducing this amazing excercise of talking with trees on our Brahmatal trek.
We all were gathered in khorurai forest. The forest was old and antiquated. We were asked to choose any tree and stand next to it face to face - you touch and hug the tree and rest is just feelings, bond, connection and linkage.

I selected mine.(the one in the picture above) The silence with birds warbling, stream burbles, trees swaying and the woody fragrance around. I touched the rough bark, looked up to the huge tall tree. I simply hugged the tree - In few seconds I realised a flow of emotions from a tree too.I hugged it so tight as if I am hugging someone whome I never hugged that last time.

I know it sounds really crazy. Humor me for a moment. But if you look at the details carefully, how it bark swirls around, the motif that it creates. The years of experience and wisdom it has accrued. The patterns I saw in the tree, those same patterns were in my mind.
Before I leave this tree, I closed my eyes and shared a big secret with the tree - the secret, which will remain forever with this tree.

If you really could connect to the tree. The tree will guide you to the wisdom and guidance that comes from all of nature. Whether it be a river, tree, stone, or fallen leaves. Nature will help you open up new pathways, to see things differently, and tap into your wise self.
