Day 1

We were all set to begin our journey to first foreign country. Me being a wanderlust person was very excited for the upcoming adventures and thrill. My wife on other end was very shy. We had our flight at night 11:55 pm from Mumbai. Singapore Airlines is no doubt world no 1 airlines when it comes to inflight services. We were served diner which was delicious and I had a glass of wine.

Day 2

We landed at Changi international airport at around 8 am, and our driver was waiting out side. After completing all the formalities on airport, Our driver dropped us to our hotel Parc Sovereign. One of the very good budget hotel in Singapore, Parc Sovereign dint failed to impress us. After smooth check-in process, we entered our room and relaxed since we had an overnight journey.

Our first destination was Singapore zoo, one of worlds best zoo. I hired a cab through Grab app which I found very user friendly. After around 30 minutes of drive, we reached the zoo and believe me it was mesmerizing. I am a wildlife lover and the way they keep animals here is fantastic. We saw all the wild animals including white tiger, orangutan, Gorilla, Komodo dragon etc. It takes around 2-3 hours to visit the zoo completely.

After the zoo, we visited another trademark destination of Singapore, Gardens by the bay. You can see a nice skyline of Singapore city from here, they have artificial water falls, flower gardens which is must visit.

Day 3

After Gardens by the bay, it was time for dinner. Our hotel was near Little India lane so I requested my driver to drop us at the end of the lane. You will see many Indian restaurants and shops here. As an Indian, you should visit this place, you will get all that you need for your trip. After a lavish dinner, we came back to our hotel and called it a day.

Day 2

Today was the day of adventures and fun. The most awaited destination of the trip, Universal Studios. A great theme park designed for adrenaline rush. You get all sorts of rides here but my favorite is Battlestar galactica and Transformers. In the morning you will see huge rush for these two rides so avoid going in these rides at first. You can keep them for the later part of the day. You can get Hollywood movie based souvenir from one of the stores here. Also, you can get delicious chocolates from Candilicious store. There's also a casino here which you can visit if you wish to earn some luck.

In the morning we visited orchid road to through local bus. You can get variety of markets here. At noon, we visited Sentosa island, same place where they have universal studios. Today we visited madam Tussaud's museum, butterfly park, S.E.A. aquarium and many more places. Its again one of the trademark destination in Singapore. There are many places here for everyone's taste. I would advise you to buy the passes online which is costs less and is very convenient. You can also top up your passes at any of the attraction here. This is a very huge island and to cover all the places is impossible in 1 day so make your list of priority places you want to visit, this way you can save a lot of time.

Today was the last day in Singapore, At evening we had our Genting dreams cruise which will take us to Kuala Lumpur and back to Singapore. It was 2 night 3 days luxurious cruise. In the morning we visited marina bay where they have iconic Merlion statue and the famous marina bay hotel. After the city tour we went to embark our cruise.

Day at Genting Dreams. The cruise is like a city sailing on the sea, there are number of activities you can try here, casinos, rock climbing, ziplining, dance shows and what not. I am short of words here so I would say visit personally and get an experience of lifetime.

Day 7

After reaching Singapore, we directly went to airport to catch our flight for Bali. we were welcomed with garlands on Bali airport and our cab driver was already waiting for us. We had our stay at ubud which is around 2 hours from Bali airport.

Today we visited Tanjong benoa beach for some water rides and also visited turtle island where you can go through glass boat. Yes you read it right, glass boat through which you can see all the things under your boat. In the evening we visited Uluwantu temple where you can get a scenic view of the island. Bali is coastal country so make sure you apply a good amount of sunscreen before you head out. I would also suggest that if you are a vegetarian like me, there are very less options in Bali so have some snacks with you through out the day. If you are in bali, you can not miss the Giant swings in ubud. There are large paddy fields and above them you get to swing on big swings, A must visit for couples. We also got ourselves balinese massage which was very relaxing and soothing. After that, we visited on of the coffee fields where they grow coffee and other herbs like ginseng, ginger, green teas. You can get to taste all there products with the tour. Next destination was Tanah lot temple, another trademark destination of Bali, a cultural place where you see different colors of Bali. A lovely evening here is worthy with your better half.

Today was our last day in Bali, After check out, our cab took us to Bali airport to catch our flight for Mumbai.
