Day 1

"LIFE AT STAKE"
If you ever would want to visit a remote and rugged mountain region with least amount of development then this is the place for you . As the road conditions are tough much tougher then Ladakh, Spiti road trip is ideal for travellers looking to challenge themselves in every way.
There are small villages interspersed along the gorgeous Spiti river and also on the many village roads that branches from the main highway. These villages are sparsely populated and still live in a traditional way untouched by the modern way of living. With its rough terrains, Spiti is definitely not for the weak-hearted. It faces extreme weather conditions where riding bike was very difficult drizzling made it worse, temperature ranging somewhat from 6°C to -4°C ,landslides, low oxygen, high altitude sickness and you need to pass through risky routes crossing waterfalls and melting glaciers  to reach the valley as some part has stone shooting area where landslides are common. Expect only basic facilities on the way as well as in the hotels you stay in. In some places, stay options will be limited to monasteries and homestays only.A trip to Spiti is not everyone’s cup of tea.
