Took a direct flight to Guwahati from Mumbai at 7.10am Indigo.
Reached Guwahati @ 10.10am.
Took Ola and went to AWE Rides where I rented a two wheeler for the trip.
Had Breakfast (Maggi) in nearby restaurant.
It will take 3 hrs if you drive continuously from Guwahati to Shillong.
Remember Sunsets around 4.30-5pm.
On the way you will be able to see Umiam Lake.
So if you reach Shillong by 3pm you can cover Shillong View Point and Elephant Falls.
There are few more places like Ward's lake, Churches n Museum.
(I was not able to cover up these places due to unexpected circumstances at stay which I booked through MMT)
I stayed at OYO Balaji Guest House overnight.
You can have amazing foods near Police Bazaar. There are less options for Veg in Meghalaya.
You have to depend mostly on Maggi.
Left Shillong at 6am.
We drove to Tyrna (2.30hrs). Try to reach by 9-9.30am.
Then a downward trek of 3000 steps to Nongriat. Guide not required.
Reach Nongriat at 11-11.30am
Then leave around 1pm for Rainbow Falls then Blue lagoon. Guide required.
I stayed at Nongriat Guest House (Chally's Homestay) overnight. (600₹)
There is also another stay called Serene Homestay (Byron). Only two options are available. Nearby homes provides food. So you won't stay empty stomach.

Get ready for 3000 steps strenuous uphill trek back to Tyrna at 6am.
Reach Tyrna by 10.10.30am.
Then reach Sohra by 11.30am
We took a room at Pateng Homestay. (900₹)
Leave by 12.30-1pm.
Went to Nohkalikai Falls & Arwah Caves.
You can cover Mawsmai Caves & Seven sister falls (You won't be able to see a single drop of water since I didn't see in December)
Both caves are not for Claustrophobic people.
You can cover Mawsmai Caves in the Morning also.
Leave Sohra by 8.30-9am
Reach Dawki/Shnongpdeng by 12.30-1am
Take a room at Shnongpdeng.
I stayed at Halatong tourist homestay. (900₹)
Drive to Dawki for Boat ride on Crystal clear waters of Umngot river. You can visit Jaflong Zero point.
Leave by 7am for Krang Shuri Waterfall. You will fall in love with this beautiful waterfall.
Leave around 9.30- 10am and reach Shnongpdeng.
Visit Shnongpdeng clear waters. You can also engage in adventure sports like kayaking, snorkelling, cliff jumping and zip lining.
Leave Shnongpdeng by 12.30-1pm and visit Indo-Bangaladesh Border (Tamabil Zero Point).
Then leave around 1.30-2pm to visit the cleanest village Mawlynnong. Also visit Balancing rock.
You can stay overnight here or travel back to Shillong.
I stayed at Mawlynnong Umpohliew Homestay. (600₹)
Drive to Shillong if you stayed at Mawlynnong.
You can visit the places mentioned on 1st day if have missed it.
Shopping at Police Bazaar or Bada Bazaar at Shillong. You can buy Naga Shawls and Mufflers.
Then drive to Guwahati.

Overnight stay at Guwahati. (Guwahati hotels are costly so book in advance but also make sure you reach here on the same day)
If you have time then you visit Maa Kamakhya Temple (Check for timings) and then departure for Airport.

Ola & Uber is available in Guwahati.
Guwahati flights are cheaper than Shillong flights.
Wake up early as possible and leave for the day.
Sunrise at 6am - Sunset at 5pm.
Zoom Car and other two wheeler rentals are available.
Petrol is 9-10₹ cheaper than Mumbai.
Alcohol is cheap in Meghalaya.
