Kempty falls is a fascinating waterfall in Ram Gaon in the Tehri Garhwal District of Utrakhand. It is situated on the Chakrata road and is 13 KMS away from Musoorie and 40 odd Kms away from Dehradun.

It is the place for which Musoorie is known for so this place is highly overcrowded and it takes a lot of time to reach by road specially in the peak season.

You can take a direct cab from Musoorie to reach this place.

It is also known for the ropeway which leads you to the fall otherwise you need to do a small trek to reach the falls.

So i was with my family mom dad and wife and we reached this place in Musoorie around 12 noon as it was June and it was peak season so the place was highly crowded.

Plus there was a queue for ropeway so we had to do a small trek which went through a small market where you can buy souvenirs as well.

After about 20 odd minutes we were looking at the most amazing and popular falls of northern India.

Kempty are lovely falls and now there is a small pond or pool sort of structure created for people to swim and enjoy the waterfall. The water is quite cold though. There are swimming costumes for rent / sale nearby.

Enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee and some hot Maggi after getting wet at the falls.

We spent around 40 minutes and it was fun watching the flow of water from such a height.

We took some amazing pictures and overall it was real fun visiting Kempty Falls.
