The government has agreed for the development of the Bilaspur-Mandi-Manali-Leh railroad line along the India-China outskirt on a basic level. A railway track is soon going to come up towards Ladakh, along the beautiful landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. Given the already risen and rising popularity of Ladakh as a tourist destination, this is a very significant step towards promoting tourism.
The expense of development of this 498km rail line has been put up at Rs 22,831 crore, according to estimations.
