→ Ideal for

Hotel Villa Honegg is an ideal destination for newly-weds looking for an offbeat experience for their honeymoon. A destination in itself, couples can plan their entire honeymoon here or use the property as their base to explore Switzerland.

Built in 1905, Hotel Villa Honegg re-opened in 2011 after undergoing extensive renovations, which were undertaken carefully so as not to compromise on its historical charm. Designers Tom Jestico and John Whiles have used wood, leather, stone, velvet and brocade to create a spectacular effect. The 23 rooms and suites at Villa Honegg offer plenty of privacy, tranquillity and comfort in a phenomenal mountain setting.

→ Food

The wainscoted lounge is lovely, but the terrace lounge at Hotel Villa Honegg is the real deal. From here, you can trace exactly where your meal is coming from: the butcher is across the meadow, and almost all produce hails from within the premises.

You can enjoy regional dishes, such as fondue and raclette, as well as international classics and Lebanese specialties. The beef tartar, the meatloaf and the älpler macaroni-ravioli are some of the most popular dishes. Awarded 14 Gault-Millau points, all the dishes are made from locally-sourced ingredients. There's a fireside cigar lounge that puts the cherry on top of a full day of leisure and for non-smokers, there’s a second lounge.
