It was such a mess!
I get to know that I've won a contest and get a sponsored trek, scheduled for 2 days later. Out of which I spend 1 day thinking if I'll be able to manage to make myself present at the base camp. There wasn't a hint of doubt. I had to go, no matter however unprepared!
On top of it all, I receive an e-mail which instructed about the mandatory things to be carried. Suddenly you have a lot more stuff to be arranged for!
Okay, I compose myself and start putting things in place. I kept saying that all this is gonna be worth it. I had never been to the Himalayas before.
Meanwhile all I am concerned about is my camera equipment. I made sure, before anything else, that all my camera equipment is packed. Initially I went a little berserk over my mom reading the 'mandatory things to be carried' e-mail, there was no time to get most of those things! But tadaaaa! Hours later, most of it appeared out of nowhere. Moms are magicians.
Finally I reach there, Auli, our first base-camp.
Amidst all this commotion, why did I even call it Utopia? There was hardly anything perfect!
Until Now!
And when the pictures convey, they make you a lazy writer ;)
