A Unique Travel Experience: Blending Business with Adventure in the UAE

When most people are busy preparing their presentations for a business trip, I found myself crafting a different kind of plan—“Where I can blend my business trip with adventure”. I booked my stay at Sheraton Hotel and Resort in Abu Dhabi, perfectly located with stunning sea views. After wrapping up my business meetings, I was excited to dive into a week of personal adventure and discovery.

Day 1-Yas Island: A Theme Park Extravaganza

The first destination on my list was Yas Island. Eager to make the most of my time, I planned visits to Warner Bros and Waterworld Abu Dhabi. I learned that on Friday Waterworld only allows women, so I change the plan and plan to visit Warner Bros and SeaWorld.

What I didn’t realize was that Warner Bros. World is the second largest indoor theme park in the world! Having never been to a theme park before, I entered with a preconceived notion that theme park were primarily for children. However, the moment I stepped into Warner Bros, I was awestruck by its vibrant design and thrilling rides. Each corner offered something special, but my absolute favorite was the Green Lantern ride truly embodied the spirit of adventure.

After an unforgettable day at Warner Bros. World, I headed over to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, just a five-minute cab ride away. While SeaWorld also delivered an impressive experience, the highlight for me was undoubtedly the dolphin show. It was a perfect way to conclude a fun-filled day, and I returned to my hotel feeling fulfilled and eager for more.

Day 2- Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah: Camping Under the Stars

I had planned a camping trip to Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, a scenic four-hour drive from Abu Dhabi. Since we lacked camping gear, we made a pit stop to pick up essentials and grab lunch, which caused a slight delay. As we arrived after sunset, my friends and I quickly set up our tent at a pre-reserved spot.

That night was magical; we gathered around a BBQ, enjoying good food and laughter as we shared stories under the starry sky. Some chose to sleep under the stars, while others took refuge in their cars, listening to music. We woke up early to catch the sunrise—a breathtaking sight that energized us for the day ahead.

Our next adventure was the Jais Sledder, where we sped down the mountain at exhilarating speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour. I can feel the adrenaline rush in my blood while riding the Jais Sledder after the ride I move towards Sharjah to my friends home.

Day 3- Exploring Dubai: A Day of Wonders

With Sharjah behind us, I set my sights on Dubai. My itinerary included visiting the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, and the Sky View. Out of these iconic landmarks, I was particularly drawn to the Sky View Edge Walk, which offered an unparalleled perspective of the city and a thrilling dose of adrenaline. For those who might be averse to heights, the glass slide and observatory provided a great alternative.

As the sun began to set, I returned to Burj Khalifa to catch the stunning fountain show—a spectacular display that perfectly capped off my adventurous day in Dubai.

Day 4-Shopping Extravaganza

On my final day, I dedicated my time to shopping at the Dubai Outlet Mall. I found incredible deals on shoes and clothing, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for discounts on high-quality items.

This unique travel experience taught me that business trips can be much more than just meetings and presentations. By blending work with adventure, I was able to create lasting memories while exploring the rich offerings of the UAE. From theme parks to camping and vibrant city life, my journey was a perfect reminder that life is about creating moments—both in business and in our personal adventures
