Day 1

The majestic Taj Mahal
Well when you see this marvel you realise no words can do justice for the grandeur of this beautiful monument. We reached in the morning around 8 and luckily did not face any rush. The tickets cost 50 INR for Indian citizens and if you wish to go inside the Taj Mahal where Mumtaz's and Shahjahan's tomb is present then you need to buy the additional ticket which costs 200 bucks.  Remember to carry your water bottle along with you.
If you are visiting Taj Mahal , I recommend you to visit Agra fort as well. It's  within a km and is a world UNESCO heritage. 60% of the agra fort is occupied by the Indian army currently and 40% of it is available for tourists to visit.  The beautiful heritage of this place makes you feel proud of India's rich history. It's always better to hire a guide while visiting historical places. You will be amazed by the technology they used during that time to cool their rooms without air conditioners and how beautiful is its royal architecture. This fort was built by Akbar and his generations lived in this fort until the British captured it. Here are some glimpses of the agra fort .
