Hello all!! Like every year it’s a custom for us to experience snowfall in winters and after Jibhi this year we are so lucky to find snow at this point of year in Chopta-tungnath-chandrashila trek!! So let’s enjoy some clicks from our latest trip!! Happy travelling:)
Enroute to chopta there is this small city, all lit up and Alaknanda river rests between two hills of younger Himalayas. Right after the city ends there is this small view point where you can find a small dhaba and do stop here for quick chai-break..

As we crossed Devprayag in the wee hours we couldn’t capture Sangam very well but on our way we experienced some amazing views!!
After reaching Chopta and encountering snow we didn’t expect snowfall of this amount. Literally it was above 7ft at places. This time we aren’t able to reach Tungnath due to heavy snow but our camps at Himalayan camps give us sych thrill and it was a pleasant stay after so much snowfall!!
*for keeping yourself warm you will only get booze (if you want one) in Agyasthmuni town.
After having our breakfast we head back to our favourite place Rishikesh. Sat on ghaats for hours and then for amazing food head to cafes like La Bella, Indian Delight cafe for their must have Oreo shakes.
