There are some amazing waterfalls near Lakshman Jhoola and some are near the national highways. The plus point is that they can easily be located as they are marked tourist spots. But the negative point is that they are very crowded and you are not able to enjoy the beauty and calmness of nature to the extent you could have been.
There are some hidden waterfalls which are less explored by travellers but present mesmerizing views with the melodious sound of the water falling down from the mountains. A dip in the natural ice cold water makes your mind blank and removes all burdens from the mind, giving your soul a fresh makeover.
This hidden waterfall lies on an off beat track which is quite tough to access through the car. So it is advised that a two wheelers be taken on rent and a memorable trip through nature be planned for that day. The two wheeler can be rented at Rs. 500 per day.
There are no guided routes for this waterfall. You have to rely on google maps for most of the journey and also you have to keep asking the locals passing by for the SANKALA HIDDEN WATERFALL to stay on the track. After a journey of 5-6 kms from the city centre you will touch a off beat track that will take you on narrow dusty lanes through the jungle and will end right at your destination. As there are multiple offbeat routes emerging from a single route so it is advisable to keep confirming it from the locals.
