Founded by Miles Moulding, the world's deepest hotel known as 'Deep Sleep' is located in the Cwmorthin quarry. Miles loves outdoor adventure and this underground cave hotel made perfect sense to him.

The hotel is set 1,375 feet (419 meters) below the ground level, under the mountains of Snowdonia in Wales, in an abandoned Victorian slate mine.

If you are an adventure lover put on your helmet, miner's lamp, harness, and Wellington boots and get to your room in 45 mins which includes rock climbing, cross a bridge and go through the mines.

After walking for a bit in the mountains, the guests will bid goodbye to the outside world, and make their way into the depths of the world’s largest and deepest abandoned slate mine! The mine was operated from 1810 to 1939 and guests will have to navigate decaying bridges and ancient miners' stairways! Now thats something exciting!
