Rishi Khola-The junction of two Indian states

Write down the depiction of a pure nature is really hard.But to feel the pure nature is not so hard.Just think a situation-after closing your eyes and you can hear the sound of river and birds".Is not it a medicine for stress?For me the answer is yes.And for this I was attracted to a very small village-Rishikhola.This village comprises a river called-Rishikhola and what is the meaning of Khola?It means River.This awesome village is situated only about 44 km away from main Kalimpong town.River Rishikhola makes a bond between two Indian states-West Bengal and Sikkim.
How to reach : The nearest airport is Bagdogra International Airport and the nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri.From Bangdogra or New Jalpaiguri you cam book a cab to Kalimpong.Kalimpong town is about 78 km away from Bagdogra Airport and from New Jalpaiguri railway station Kalimpong is about 72 km away.After reaching Kalimpong again hire a cab to reach Rishikhola. awesome village is situated only about 44 km away from main Kalimpong town.River Rishikhola makes a bond between two Indian states-West Bengal and Sikkim.

My suggestion:Just take rest for that day whenever you will reach Kalimpong.And on the next day you can go out for Rishikhola.Kalimpong-Rishikhola road is not so good.so please wear seat belt.
Documents required for entry at West Bengal & Sikkim check post : For Indians-2 xerox copies of Aadhar Card
For Foreigners-2 xerox copies of Passport and Visa (Additional documents if they want).
My Suggestion-Please do xerox from Kalimpong main town.the ammount of 1 xerox copy is about 10 INR.
What to see and feel : The Rishikhola bridge which connects West Bengal and Sikkim,The Rishikhola river,small bamboo deck bridges,green jungle,rocks and much more.
