Here sitting at home in this lockdown period I guess everyone is missing travelling. Watching old travel pictures and revisiting memories is helping me stay positive and calming myself down.
The biggest regret I would say I have right now is 'Asking for frequent WFH👩💻' & 'Postponing Travel Plans🙅'. Never gonna do any of these in the time ahead for sure🤦🤦
Here we go for the Trip but before that I am new here guys. Please do comment if you like anything or if you didn't like anything (Just saying out of formality, please don't do it will wrench my heart😅). Or adding just a thumbs in the comments section up will also do👍🏼
This is one of the rarest trip which was planned way ahead against our usual trips. Destination was Ajmer and Pushkar. Group of friends and a Road Trip - pretty self explanatory!!!
We booked our cab via Taj Travels they have been our constant, left late night from Gurgaon around 1 am picking our friends working in late night shifts.
Next day around 11 am we reached Ajmer covering a distance of about 365km. Got our hotel booked for us in advance. Hotel was nice and well maintained. We checked in quickly got fresh and was ready to explore the place.
We then left for Pushkar first, which is about 15km from Ajmer. There we straight went to Savitri Mata Temple via ropeway. The view you get from that top was just mesmerizing. It was beautiful indeed.
Next place in our mind was Brahma Temple - said to be the only Brahma Temple in the whole world. You need to keep the track of time if you wish to cover all these places in Pushkar. Exploring so many beautiful cafes. We had the very famous Falafel Humus Wrap in Pushkar.
Finally came my favorite thing to do, watching over sunset. It is supposed to be one on the most beautiful thing to do in Pushkar. And trust me it was actually. I was so looking forward to this. I just saved that memory in my eyes forever. Sitting beside Pushkar Lake watching the water trembling and the sunset.
We came back to Ajmer, took a little rest. Grab our bottles and snacks and found a place beside Ana Sagar and enjoyed the night there. Lucky are the people who get this view on a regular basis. It was so peaceful, just takes away all the stress in your head. The cold breeze, water around & your buddies is a night to cherish. Don't worry being a responsible traveller we took care of the waste we generate.
Next day in Ajmer started with tea - best start of the day possibly😍
Agenda today was to have famous cusine of Ajmer including Pyaz Kachodi, kulfi from Chopati, Sev Tamare, Kaju curry, papad, Dal bati, Ghevar. Something I was so dying to do😋 And yes we had all this in just a day. Unfortunately couldn't find their pictures in my gallery was so busy eating them.
Our next agenda was to visit the very pious Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Be there guys you will automatically relate to the vibes there. It feels like someone is listening to your prayers and problems every minute. Soulful experience and feel the presence of that super power.
The evening again was spent exploring the local place and siting beside Ana Sagar.
That is how we ended our trip it was Sunday night we left back for Gurgaon, hoping to attend the office on Monday (which we did, with a sleepy head though!)😅😅.
Hope you enjoyed the trip!!
Don't forget to comment would mean a lot to me!
