WHAT ABOUT COVID-19 CASES?
The French Polynesia is a collective of hundred islands in the south Pacific Ocean. This is the first month where there were no deaths and the Covid cases reduced significantly in comparison to the start of the year. In February, the country allowed people to travel for specific reasons related to health, work, family, or return trips. Due to this, the cases have gone down in these three months.
WILL THERE BE ANY RESTRICTIONS?
Even though the country is allowing people to travel, they have imposed several rules and regulations. There will also be a curfew from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m till 30th April.
According to sources, it is said that covid testing will be performed before tourists enter the borders. This will include virological testing, serological testing, vaccine, and electronic travel information system.
