The backpackers are all aware of the Sandakphu trek in West Bengal, but in a hurry, they overlook the equally beautiful places they cross-over to reach Sandakphu.
Tumling ( at 2900m ), a quaint little hamlet on the Nepal side of the road, half way to Sandakphu, a day's walk from Manebhanjan ( 11km ) gives an excellent 180 degree view of Mt.Kanchenzonga.
