Bhutan- Country with Gross National Happiness Index rather than GDP.

Tripoto

Often when this country's name comes in mind, people think of a place that quiet exist at the back of their mind. I haven't yet came across anyone whose bucket list included this small nestled country just next to ours.

Frankly the government laws, the people and everything thats here is not only for the people but its for the planet also. The only carbon negative country in the whole world, there is no trace of pollution that can engulf you unlike metro cities. Their capital city Thimpu seems like a tranquil landscape spread in the arms of nature.

I can pretty much go on and on about all praises for this small country which does big deeds but the main things to appreciate are- For every occasion they plant trees(Example- How cool is that when you turn 16 and plant 32 new saplings), They do not litter around and its illegal too, They do not honk at all while driving, They measure the country's progress in terms of how happy its citizens are i.e GNH(Gross national happiness) , Bhutanese people are the best when it comes to being warmly and their hospitality is to cherish forever in your lives.

The greenery, the air, the people, serene nature and what not! To travel is to love and this country has enough reasons to fall head over heels in love with it.

P.S- If you're an Indian you'll be privileged as you can turn on your exploration mode on without paying per day fee in dollars to follow the tour guide around.
