Since January 2015 . It was my 5 trip at Dhungeswari mountain and it is always fun to go and feels the absolute silence . I used to drive about 20 kms to reach the destination and it is 12 kms northeast of Gaya to reach the ancient Dungeshwari Cave Temples, also known as Mahakala Caves. It is believed that Lord Buddha meditated in the three caves here before continuing his journey to Bodhgaya. Which is quite interesting and spiritual place with positive vibes in the air. The journey is quite simple and easy to reach there. You can choose your transportation system on your affordable price. Which is take not longer than 20-30 minutes. The altitude of this mountain is not more than 365 feets. Which take hardly 10- 15 minutes to climb on . Those who(old people) want any assistance to reach there, here you find basket where u sit and local paid people will carry you on his shoulder to the peak of moutain .you can visit there whenever you free to go. Trust me it is wonderful and exciting to explore the city of Bodhgaya from there. There is small monestry which is build by Tibetan monks and still they will present from the longer. There dedication and devotion for Buddha will amaze you . You will find there" Tibetan culture structural" designs at monestry lobby e.g- stupa ,temple peripheri and in Buddha statue.
