Short trip to Bir-Billing

Thought to take a break from normal life and planned a weekend trip to Bir to be in nature for a while and for paragliding which i am wanted to do from past so many years. Booked a dorm in Zostel in Bir which is near to the landing site and all the famous cafe are within walking distance from there.

Starting early in the morning from Chandigarh, i reached Bir around 12-1 pm, took a shower and left for popular northern cafe to grab something to eat, and let me tell you the location of the cafe is really very beautiful, away from the main road and honking of the taxis and stuff. I heard from someone that they serve very amazing thupka, so i ordered one and let me tell you that was the one of the amazing thupka i have ever had, and the nice pleasant music compliments the taste of the thupka. I sat there for couple of hours enjoyed my Thupka, coffee and the nice views.

Later in the evening i came down to the market area strolled there for couple of hours, bought some stuff and came back to Zostel. At the night time i grabbed some booze from store and went to a cafe nearby and ordered some food, and enjoyed night with good food, nice booze and pleasant music.

Next day, i woke up and went to landing site area to grab some good coffee.

After couple of hours, i left for billing launch site. Pro tip you can get better deal if you check with the pilot who are just landing and looking for next client, ask them to take you alongwith them to launch site. So yeah, after reaching at launch site it was a long wait to become wind and cloud condition favourable. Being air borne is a great and amazing experience, i recommend everyone try this atleast once in lifetime.

The same day , later in the evening after paragliding i left for Chandigarh and reached my place late in Night.
