It was bright shinny evening I left my office ASAP cause I need to catch that last Bus we booked it for an amazing trip to "The Land of God" That is "KERALA". We were three friends packed our backpack and move on. We were so lucky that we reached at Bus Depot just 3 minutes before the bus will depart. The destination was " Munnar" This time and we took that bus at 1900hours and reached at morning 0600hours. It was cold and we were shivering because Chennai's summer is totally different than Munnar's summer. It was April and still it's cold over there. The hills surrounded by beautiful tea gardens and mesmerizing colourful flowers. We roam around there then booked a hotel that is actually in the median of our to-go list places.
And then next day we went out had our morning tea which is special one because you are in the middle of Tea gardens hill. And to be honest you can have best tea with different kind and tastes there. But what more surprising was the kind of Serving water. Normally in every restaurant and even in household they serve special type of drinks mixed with some Ayurvedic plants and hot water seems like Rum tastes like slightly bitter but in reality it's healthier than anything else. Then we booked our Jeep for sightseeing and geared up for amazing ride. He was Keralite speaks only in Malayalam but we managed to have smooth conversations with him. We went to Botanical Garden, shooting area, elephant reserve and Indo-swiss dairy farm where cattles were grazing around. Out of all one special visit was Echo Point famous for its echo phenomena. Although it's wide enough but still it echoes each word but in different pitch. You will feel like Someone else replied to you on other side.
After staying on that chilly night warm up with our old friend who was monk with local brew of Kerala we rent out 2 bikes and again move on to the last but not the least favourite place lakkom waterfalls. We spend some quality time there had bath at a kund with some other tourist including foreigners. As the sun touches the head we went to local village there with them. Had our lunch with them and it tastes like superla! While coming back to our hotel there we captured some beautiful moments in the tea gardens. Slowly time moves faster than ever but fortunately we cannot skip the dark homemade chocolate which you must try. Munnar is famous for their own products which includes organic fruits and vegetables. Best time to visit this places is summer and after monsoon.
So finally we board the bus to chennai on the same day at evening.
This is Kerala- The Gods own country
