“Kutch Nahi Dekha Toh Kuch Nahi Dekha!”

The most enticing tourism tagline of all.

And it was true, the shinny white sand desert called the Salt marsh of Gujarat. A whole city just of tents, ridding besides the beach and a 8 KM long water bridge. I got goosebumps - and so did you, I am sure.

Here are the major attractions we will be going on our 5 days bike trip to RUNN OF KUTCH.

We will be reaching from Delhi to Ahmedabad via flight and taking a bus from Ahmedabad to Bhuj. In Bhuj we are supposed to rent bikes. And with that begins the most woo road trip of my life.

“Chalo Kutch dekhne!”

Runn Utsav

The city of tents that is purpose build for tourism. One night here will cost you atleast Rs. 16k per night in a premier tent. The Swiss tents are quipped with 5-star facilities. There are a lot of activities to be done in the Runn Utsav, that will keep you busy for the day. We will be staying in Dhorda, a nearby Village to Runn Utsav and visiting Runn Utsav during the day.

The tent city. More pictures of the Runn Utsav on the website, rannutsavgujarat.in

Dholavira

This will be our longest day on the road to travel from Bhuj to Dholavira. The on the way to Dholavira is the sea bridge I was mentioning about. The Dholavira is an Archaeological site, is the detail you guys must be least interested in. Also, another fact, Tropic of Cancer passes through it. Phew! That was a lot of geography.

Other places that are a part of our itinerary are Lakhpath Fort and Mandvi Beach. A fort in Runn that oversees Pakistan border and beyond and a not-so-good beach.

Free tip: Follow me if you got excited and want to see the beautiful place from lens of my action camera. As typical as it can get.
