Hamirsar Lake is a large man made lake situated in the heart of the Bhuj city. The lake is near the famous palaces Aaina Mahal and Prag Mahal. Other near by places are Kutch Museum, Swaminarayan temple and Ramkund Stepwell. It is filled with water during monsoon. In winter it attracts many migratory birds. The morning and evening time is best to visit the lake.
