There are only tents here. And it's really cold in the night. Temperature falls to 1 Degree . Star Gazing in the night is the best thing to do here after visiting the Lake.
Road from Shimla To Kalpa is nice until Rampur and after that you will get a bad paych of around 50KM just like in this photo.. And then you will reach Kapla.. and can adore the massive Kinnaur Kailash.
And you are gonna really enjoy till Rampur . The twisteies, curvy roads.. with greenary on both side and Apple Orchards all over.
Bad Patch after Rampur
It was Kalpa to Tabo.
With few bad patches , the road condition is all good. BRO did an awesome job. Hats off to BRO.
In this route you are going to climb up mountains and then descend. And be careful as one miss and you will be falling straight down.
Be aware of local buses. Rest of all enjoy the scenic beauty.
Kaza is a small town with the highest petrol pump.
You can visit many places nearby like Kye Gompa, Chicham Bridge, komic Village. And the highest post office at Hikim which is still operational.
Do visit Himalayan cafe at Kaza market . It's an awesome place to hang out with.
There are any home stays around Kaza market if you need an cheap stay.
ChandraTaal or the moon lake get it's name due to it's moon shape .
