Jibhi is a secluded village of Himachal Pradesh surrounded via Mountains, River strolls facet by way of side, joyful human beings and some cool cafes around, an ideal gateway to see the serene splendor of nature.

This was my second outing and I select Jibhi to explore. Here I am giving you whole information so, hold Jibhi in your bucket list.

✈How to Reach ✈:

I began from Delhi so here I am offering the route :

Route : Delhi> Aut > Banjar >Jibhi

Day 1

Took a bus from 🚌Delhi ISBT to Aut at 10 pm in the night. Reached Aut at around 12 20 pm as there was traffic due to some development work. If you favor you may also get down at the Aut tunnel and you can get a cab for around 800-1000 bucks. I stayed at 🏑Wayward Inn, after searching for some locations I pick this one as I was searching for some protected place. As we stayed at this amazing cottage which used to be located on Ghiyagi, Shoja Road, so the host upon requesting, himself organized a cab for us. So he charged about the equal quantity which was 1100 bucks for Aut to Ghiyagi. We had been welcomed by an extremely good couple who were our hosts at the cottage, Ved Bhaiyya, and his wife. And the view of the cottage was so lovely and divine as we had been capable to have the entire view from our window of the room. This region was stunning and run by a friendly couple.

Day 2

Jalori Pass & Serolsar Lake Trek

We began eight in the morning. As we missed the HRTC bus so we took the cab alternative which our host organized for us from our cottage to Jalori Pass from where the Serolsar Trek πŸŒ„starts. The trek from Jalori Pass to Serolsar Lake is a 5 km one way and takes about two hrs. This lake can be reached by a trek from Shoja or Jalori Pass.

On the way, there are a lot of small stores where you can revel in nature and devour Maggi or take a sip of tea. I sincerely preferred the way to the lake extra fascinating than the end destination.

Serolsar Lake is placed at an altitude of 3199 m. It is surrounded by thick vegetation of alpine forests. There is a delusion that even if a small leaf falls into the Lake the birds around take them out of the lake and keeps the water crystal clear. The water of the lake is believed to have medicinal properties.

The Lake has a narrow walking track lined up with thick tall trees on the outer side. On one side of the Lake is a small temple of Budi Nagini. The devotees worship and offer ghee to the deity. It is said that the lake is very deep and that Budi Nagin herself lived in a golden palace at the backside of the lake.

Local humans are extremely good and nice at Jibhi and you can ask a lift if you see any local going down to Jibhi.

This vicinity can be visited as a day-out from Kullu if commenced early in the morning.

Day 3

So the next day, we woke up late as we were so tired. After having our breakfast, we were told by Ved Bhaiyya that there is a waterfall which we should not miss. So we decided to see the beautiful waterfall which he told us about. But as we were getting ready to step out of the cottage, the rain started heavily and I forgot to mention we were there in 2019 August when there were Floodβ›ˆ and Cloudburst in the Mandi region. So we decided to not to step out. We were unable to go out anywhere as locals were saying that it is not safe to go out during this heavy rainfall as there are chances of landslides which is very common in the hilly area. So we decided to visit some nearby cafes and enjoy some food.

Our day ended with outstanding reminiscences and the subsequent day we had to return with a bundle of memories. Overall, this region is a must-visit.
