Its has been more than a year we all go through the tough time due to Covid .It was a month of October 2021 .Almost all over places are opened for visit . I was planning to visit mountains after 2 years .

A famous quote "We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us." has always inspired me to travel & explore. A trek should be better idea to visit mountains for a Solo trip . So I planned to do Truind Trek and spend some time in lap to mountains.

Itinerary Day 1

I started from Delhi to Mcleodganj. I booked HRTC Himsuta (Volvo) . Its takes around 10-11 hours to reach Dharmshala/Mcleodganj. It’s a two days one night trip .

For the trekking I booked trekking package with some travel agency to stay at top of the Triund . At triund its up you to either booked package though online travel agency/ Local tour agencies or Self trip and stay in a Tents .

I reached Mcleodganj around 8:30 AM .After reach jut fresh N up and reached to Bhagsu Nag Temple and met our Trekking guide over there .

Enroute to the Triund Trek

There are two way to Triund Trek one is from Dharamkot via Gallu Devi temple and another is Bhagsu Fall . We choose route via Bhagsu Fall .We started around 11:00 AM.

Our first stop at Shiva Café . This very famous café of Mcleodganj with full of paintings of famous musician like Pink Floyd, Beetel etc . Here you can take refreshment/Breakfast and enjoy the nice view of mountains and fall .

We took few minutes breaks here and start again towards the Triund. During this part of the trek, the trail was steep . There were small rocks and sliding way too due to rain last week. We had to walk sturdily.

Now we reached to second stop ,its Maggi Point . From this point I were touching the clouds . Hot Maggi on hills and cool wind , it’s another level of the relaxation.

From here around 3 hours trek is pending to reach Triund Top . In group all members trek towards the target their own speed .some taking break every 10 minutes’ walk . Some moving too fast .

On the someplace I had to crawl too . As moving upside I started out of breath due walk on the lots of sharp sweeps trails .

Now I reached at Leta Village .Thereon, the Triund trek route gets more steep and requires a sturdy walk. This stretch is popularly known as 22 curves because of the 22 sharp curves en route.

Now we all group members thought we are very near but our guide shocked us still more than 2 hour journey remaining .

Itinerary Day 2

Next day early morning started to another one hour trek towards the Triund Top . This is what I'd call an easy to moderate 8-9 km trek. More often a trek is memorable because of the company new peoples and new friends , but this trail is exhilarating in its own.I return back with full of life time memories .

Note: On the Triund top group camping is restricted by the Govt .
